Windows directory recovery guide

You have just installed a new program on the computer and the system requires rebooting if you want to use this new application.
The problem is that many applications and folders are currently open, so if you choose Restart Now, the entire application / directory will be gone. Fortunately, Windows product key allows us to save session sessions and automatically open them when rebooting the system or logging in to another account. That means we will not have to manually reopen the folder and will save a lot of time and effort. This article will guide readers to do this.
Enable folder recovery on Windows
The article uses Windows 7 professional product key as an illustration. If the options also appear in other operating system versions, they will have the same effect.
<> Step 1: Start Windows Explorer by pressing <> Windows + E.
<> Step 2: If you do not see the menu bar bar, click <> Organize> Layout> Menu bar.
<Step 3: Go to <> Tools and press <> Folder Options.

<> Step 4: The Folder Options dialog box appears. Switch to <> View.

Step 5: In the Advanced settings section, scroll down to find and tick the <> Restore previous windows folder at logon.
Step 6: Click Apply and press <OK>.
Limit
There are certain restrictions when implementing the above settings as follows:
The application was not restored but only the session directory. However, users can open programs closed using the Undo Close program.
If the system is restarted due to an error, the folders will not be restored.
If there are multiple sessions of the same directory address open, only one session is retained.
However, the ability of Folder Restore to easily fade these limitations. Try the feature once and you will love it.
Conclude
Installing a program is just one case where the feature can help the user. You will have your own reasons to manually reboot or log on to Windows using another account, and Folder Restore is also useful for such situations.
